I run a horse boarding facility and work in my vibrams every single day - except for when it is muddy or raining. These socks are amazing - both for Vibrams, and also for my work boots. My climate is desert, so we do get really hot, and the higher ankle on this is really nice for work boots to protect against sweat chafing. When you first get them, they are very soft, almost like a faux feeling. I have bought other Vibram style socks in the past, and by far these are my favorite and my go-to for everything. The softness does eventually wear off, but I have never had any blisters, rubbing, or chafing problems, they fit amazing, they're really easy to put on, they've got a great look to them, and I love how long-lasting they are. My last pair I bought over a year ago and it was only recently that they started getting a hole on the bottom, and that's why I bought more.
