The Exos 48 is Osprey's ultralight backpacking pack: a 4 mm LightWire frame and tensioned AirSpeed backpanel carrying 48 litres in the S/M size at 1.255 kg. Osprey rates it for 25-30 lb, which places it between a frameless ultralight pack and a full-suspension load hauler. The frame gives it ventilation and real load transfer at a weight most framed packs cannot reach.
