Our verdict
The Flash does one thing and does it fast: half a liter of boiling water in about two minutes, with the burner, stabilizer, and lid all nesting inside its insulated one-liter FluxRing pot. The turn-and-click igniter and color-change heat indicator take out the guesswork, and the efficiency is real - roughly ten liters boiled per hundred-gram can. Know what it is: Jetboil files this under Fast Boil, not their Precision Cook line, and there is no pressure regulator - it exists to make water hot, not to simmer dinner. For backpackers living on freeze-dried meals and coffee, this is the default answer for a reason.
