This LONG carbon fiber trekking pole lower section is 4" (10 cm) taller than the normal lower section that comes with our trekking poles. This allows you to boost a trekking pole to 56" (142 cm) to fit taller tents like the Altaplex Pro, or for very tall hikers. This replacement section will fit any clasp-lock trekking
